BT Vision

You're supplied with a BT Vision set-top box, called the BT Vision+ Box The BT Vision box is capable of receiving over 40 Freeview digital TV channels (via your TV aerial) As well as the live TV channels, you have access to extra TV programmes, films, sport from Sky Sport and ESPN, plus 'catch-up TV' using your BT Total Broadband connection. On-demand content includes films, music, sports and kids programming.

Sky Digital Explored

Sky Digital currently offers the widest number of digital TV channels in the UK 98% of the UK's is able to receive Sky's satellite signal. You'll need to have a satellite dish installed on the outside your home to get satellite TV. Once Sky Digital has been installed, you'll get access to hundreds of digital TV and radio channels, including the largest selection of HD channels in the UK.

Freeview

With up to 50 digital TV channels to choose from on FREEVIEW™ there's something to keep everyone entertained. Not to mention 24 digital radio stations, better picture and sound quality and all those interactive features when you press the red button on your remote. It's really easy to get, too. Freeview products are available from most major retailers or you can find an independent retailer near you. There's no contract or subscription. Just check you are in coverage, make a one-off payment for a digital box, digital TV recorder or digital TV, plug it in and away you go! More programmes plus Sky Sports 1 & 2 or ESPN are available in addition to the Freeview channels from BT Vision and Top Up TV.

Digital TV

Digital TV offers a far wider choice of TV viewing with lots of extra channels, and uses digital technology to reduce the interference that you may experience on analogue TV (the five channels you get via your standard TV aerial).

Digital TV also offers other benefits, such as a greater selection of widescreen programming, and on-screen electronic programme guide, interactive services, and in some cases, High Definition and Dolby 5.1 surround sound.
